It will survive outdoors with proper protection although the leaves will may get damaged by frost.  Hopefully damaged leaves will be replaced by new growth in the spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The palm prefers to be positioned in a sunny position.
